Every shop gets a page automatically

As soon as you finish Setup, tatbook gives you a public website on your own subdomain. Clients never need an account to use it. On the Shop plan they land on your page, browse your artists, your portfolio, and any flash days you have posted, and book directly from there. On Solo, your page keeps it simple, and clients book with you from your home page.

What it takes to go live

Your page will not accept public bookings until it is published, and publishing needs two things: at least one artist, and a way for clients to reach you, either an active service they can book instantly or requests turned on with at least one artist taking requests. Your hours and availability never block publishing. You can go live before your full schedule is set. Clients can book once your hours, an artist's times and an active service are in place.

Until you publish, visitors see a simple "opening soon" page with your business name instead of an error, so a link you share early does not look broken.

Using your own domain

If you already have a domain, like yourshop.com, you can use it for your tatbook page instead of the subdomain. This is a Shop plan feature, and our team sets it up for you.

Go to the Domain page at /shop/settings/domain, or pick Use your own domain on the Get started with Tatbook checklist when it is showing. On the Domain page, enter the domain you own and press Request setup. Support emails you the exact DNS steps within a day and connects the domain for you. Your tatbook subdomain keeps working the whole time.

This works for a bare domain like yourshop.com or a subdomain like book.yourshop.com. The steps we send match what you entered.

Picking a look

Every shop starts with a working default theme. Shop plan shops also get the premium themes included, if you want a different look for your public page.

If something looks off

If you have not heard back about your domain within a day, or the steps we sent do not seem to work, reply to that email and we will check the records with you. A small typo in a DNS record is the most common reason a domain will not connect.
