Solo, with no monthly charge
Solo is built for one artist working alone. There is no monthly charge and it never expires. You pay a booking fee only on payments you take through tatbook. It includes a branded booking page on your own subdomain, unlimited bookings, online deposits paid straight into your own Stripe account, text confirmations and reminders, custom booking rules, Google Calendar sync so your tatbook appointments show in your Google Calendar, digital consent and intake forms, flash day management, a portfolio, client management, and your own personal block list for clients you do not want booking with you.
Card payments processed through tatbook on Solo carry a booking fee of 6% plus 30 cents per payment.
Shop, for multi artist shops
Shop is $59.99 a month, or $575.90 a year, and includes everyone on your team, not priced per artist. It has everything in Solo, plus a lower 4.9% plus 30 cents booking fee, a booking page and rules for each individual artist, team members with manager and front desk roles, a block list shared across your whole team, per artist booking analytics, email and text marketing campaigns with 500 text credits included each month, a custom domain set up by our team on request, and access to premium themes.
Trying Shop first
Choose My shop at setup and you get a 14 day free trial of the Shop plan with no card required. You get full access, set up your real booking page, and take real bookings during the trial. tatbook checks in with you around day 10. When the trial ends, new bookings pause until you choose what happens next: subscribe, switch down to the Solo plan, export your data, or take 7 more days, once. Nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
Switching or canceling
The owner can change plans or cancel at any time in Settings, Plan. Moving from Solo to Shop starts a new subscription through a Stripe checkout page. Switching between Shop billing options takes effect immediately and is prorated, so you only pay the difference for the time remaining. Canceling takes about 30 seconds and needs no phone call. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then your page goes offline. To keep your page live with no monthly charge, switch to Solo instead.
What the booking fee covers
The booking fee is the only percentage based cost on your payments, and it applies to deposits, balances and payment links, whichever plan you are on. There is no separate platform fee stacked on top of it. Your money is never held by tatbook. It goes directly into your own Stripe account the moment it is collected.
The one other cost to know about
If your shop sends more marketing texts in a month than your plan's included credits, extra texts are priced at 2 cents each, up to a monthly cap that starts at $50 and that you can change, so a busy month never surprises you with a large bill.
