Where to find it

Open Settings, then Security, and scroll to Devices and sessions. This section lists the browsers signed into your account that were active in the last 2 hours, including the one you are using right now. The mobile app does not appear in this list.

What each row shows

Each device shows what kind of device it is, like Chrome on macOS, its IP address, and when it was last active. A green Active now note appears if it was used in the last few minutes. The device you are currently on is marked This device, so you never accidentally sign yourself out of your own session.

Signing out one device

Next to any other device that is not remembered, there is a Sign out button. This ends that one session immediately. Use this if you remember leaving yourself logged in on a shared computer or a phone you no longer have.

A remembered device has no Sign out button, because it would sign straight back in. Use Sign out of all other devices to remove it.

Signing out everywhere else

If you are not sure which devices are yours, or you think someone else may have access, use Sign out of all other devices. This signs out every device except the one you are on, and it also signs the mobile app out on every device tied to your account. If you have not confirmed your password in the last few hours, tatbook asks for it first. Then press the button again.

After you sign out, tatbook tells you how many devices were signed out.

When to use this

Reach for this page after you sell or hand off a work phone, after a shared front desk computer changes hands, or any time you are not confident every device on this list is still one you trust.
